Suggested texts for Black Diamond Scribes
Following are suggested texts for scribes to use when preparing award scrolls in the Barony of Black Diamond.
It is always acceptable to add in the names of the current Baron and Baroness, as in "we, Roussell and Gayla, Baron and Baroness of Black Diamond,..."
The event at which an award is given may be added before or after the date, as in "given this 26th day of January A.S. LVII at Ice Castles."
Heralds and others with writing talent are invited to submit additional texts for consideration, keeping in mind the spirit of the awards.
Honorary Member of the Black Diamond Populace
The award of the Honorary Black Diamonder has wording that is created at the time that is usually person specific. There is no set text for scribes to use in advance.
Order of the Polished Mirror
As a brightly polished mirror reflects the virutes and delights of those who choose to gaze upon it, some among us have shown themselves early on to shine with the ideals of our Society.
